A three-cylinder turbodiesel engine is empowering this vehicle supported by a couple of electric motors. This car can go 0-100 kilometers per hour in just 4.8 seconds with a top speed of 250 kmph and consumes 3.76 liters of diesel per 100 kilometers. It features an electric mode for day to day use that can be charged through plug-in module. Audi pulled the sheet off the e-Tron Concept — a fully electric car based on the mighty R8. The company also wasted no time in showing off a new V10 version of the car with 100 extra horsepower, but the e-Tron uses four electric motors to provide its power. You'd better sit down for the stats on this concept. Audi says the four motors put out a combined 313 horsepower and a jaw-dropping 3,319 lb-ft of torque. Whereas MINI has traditionally stuck to what works with its 5-passenger hatch, the new chopped concept allows room for only two. Fewer seats mean fewer pounds in a car that weighs next to nothing already, and BMW says a sharpened suspension and potent 4-cylinder engine make the Coupe Concept quicker than anything that MINI is currently producing. Will we ever see the new MINI on the street? Incidentally GINA stands for Geometry and Functions in ‘N’ Adaptations. The car is built on the Z8 Roadster platform with its 5.0-liter V8. It consists of a flexible ’skin’ stretched over a metal wire structure enforced with carbon fiber. This gives the owner the flexibility to change the shape of the car as they please; to elucidate:&amp;nbsp;&lt;em&gt;the rear spoiler can be raised, while the rocker panels can effectively be bodykitted out.&lt;/em&gt;&amp;nbsp;There is flexibility in the inside as well, the steering wheel and instrumentation sit within the centre console and slide into position when the driver pushes the start button. Apparently the car has been influenced by the infamous ‘flame-surfaced’ styling of BMW’s current lineup.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="color: #444640; font-size: 12px; line-height: 17px;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="color: #444640; font-size: 12px; line-height: 17px;"&gt;&lt;span id="more-900"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="color: #444640; font-size: 12px; line-height: 17px;"&gt;Yet the Light Visionary Model is not made of metal but of cloth. which boosts the horsepower to 435 and offers 400 lb.-ft. of torque. This is the first time that ROUSH has been able to offer a supercharged vehicle at the launch of a new body style.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Under the hood customers will see many differences in the ROUSH 2010 427R Mustang compared to previous years. One of the biggest changes is that the long air induction tube that wrapped around the engine was eliminated making a much cleaner appearance under the hood. The intercooler reservoir has more than twice the volume of previous generations, and the intercooler itself is a single core cross-flow radiator which means more efficient cooling. It is substantially larger than on prior model years, and is now raised higher off the ground which should offer much less potential for road debris damage. Even the hoses on the ROUSH 2010 427R have seen an upgrade; they are all now 100 percent molded rubber with abrasion resistance and have imprinted markings for things like the clamp locations. This makes for even more of a true OEM appearance under the hood, and ROUSH has taken this factory appearance to the degree of matching the Ford grain on the OEM radiator reservoir and duplicated it on the one used by the intercooler. Although much of the 4.6L, 3V powertrain components are a carryover from that used on the 2005-2009 ROUSH Mustangs, customers will notice much more refinement and OEM-level quality materials and appearance on the new ROUSHcharged™ engines. This new 427R™ is be covered by a 3-year/36,000 mile warranty.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The 2010 427R™ includes an appearance package which is comprised of several components such as a new front fascia and front splitter, rear fascia, side splitters, and a three-piece rear wing. The new rear fascia is a one-piece design which improves the fit and finish; the part is injection-molded by ROUSH Manufacturing in an OEM-level TPO plastic which, in the black color with decorative grain, will help reduce rock chips. The vehicle rides on 18-inch cast chrome wheels with high-performance Cooper Zeon tires, with a new 20-inch cast chrome wheel as an available option.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This package also includes an all-new suspension package to greatly enhance the handling of the vehicle and turn that daily commute into a slalom course. The ROUSH chassis engineering team has driven tens of thousands of miles on the streets and tracks to create the best blend of comfort and handling, and claim that this is the best suspension package they have come up with yet for the Mustang. However, one of the company's flagship models -- the Ford Mustang -- has recently been losing ground to one of its primary competitors, the Chevrolet Camaro.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;In August, Ford sold 6,289 units of the 2010 Mustang, while General Motors clocked sales of the 2010 Chevy Camaro at 8,680 -- a sizable difference of 2,391 vehicles. This is the third straight month that the Camaro has beaten the Mustang on the sales floor: in June the Camaro rang up 1,958 more unit sales, and in July, 427.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;In some ways, this isn't surprising. The Camaro has been generally well received in the press, and although our own reviewers have both models tied at a score of 8.4, the Camaro outperforms the Ford in some ways (e.g. base horespower, fuel efficiency).  The fact that the Camaro was front-and-center of the American public for some time thanks to the Transformers' Bumblebee didn't hurt, either.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;On the other hand, a new set of ratings put out by Consumer Reports gives the 2010 Ford Mustang slightly better marks than the 2010 Camaro, not to mention the Dodge Challenger. In the study, Mustang received a "very good" road test rating of 78 points, while the Camaro also earned a "very good", but with a lower score of 71 points. Back then, Chevrolet planned to release a convertible version of the new &lt;a class="VipModelYearSelMM" href="http://autos.msn.com/research/vip/default.aspx?make=Chevrolet&amp;amp;model=Camaro"&gt;Camaro&lt;/a&gt; in November 2009, but an economic cliff intervened, pushing production to the second quarter of 2011. You could die of Camaro lust by then, or you could buy your Camaro convertible from Newport Convertible Engineering in Placentia, Calif.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Newport Convertible has always done a solid engineering job (fit and finish being another matter). They reinforce the windshield frame, the roof pillars, the rear seatback area and the undercarriage to compensate for the loss of the top structure. Newport claims that all of that reinforcement doesn't increase the curb weight of the car. We didn't have a scale when we drove one.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Regardless, we took this one over railroad tracks, parking-lot speed bumps and the worst asphalt Placentia had to offer. While there was a fair amount of higher-frequency movement through the windshield frame and the body at speed, the lower-frequency, bigger bumps did not translate into cowl shake. We found it to be a fundamentally solid car. The top stayed in place well, secured by two manual latches. Visibility was good, and wind intrusion was minimal inside the cabin.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Not everything about an aftermarket Newport Convertible will be quite as buttoned-up as the car coming from the manufacturer in 2011.
